FRAGRANCE & PROPERTIES Palmarosa essential oil has a soft floral hint of rose and a citrus aroma. It is extracted from the tufty grassy plant Cymbopogon Martini, which is very similar in composition to Lemongrass and is native to India and Indochina. The grass is steamed distilled, producing a wonderfully fragrant essential oil with both floral and citrus notes. It is commonly referred to as Palmarosa from its sweet, rose-like scent, but is also known as Indian Geranium, Gingergrass or Rosha Grass. It is ideal in massage blends (in a carrier oil) to help stabilise the physical symptoms of PMS such as bloating and hormonal imbalances. In a diffuser, it subtly soothing and helps to protect against emotional vulnerability and bringing a feeling of peace.
