Medical device indicated for the treatment of scars, localized or extensive, resulting from cutaneous lesions post dermatological or surgical intervention (closed wounds) or superficial burns of the 2nd degree (laser, radiotherapy).
Adults. Face, body, joints, mobile areas.
What types of scars? Once the wound is closed, after removal of sutures/strips if any: Post-sutures (following a fracture, road accident, domestic accident, cosmetic surgery...); 2nd degree superficial post-burn by prolonged contact with hot or cold material (water, hot oil, fire, hot plastic materials, ice cubes...); Post-cesarean section; Post-radiodermatitis; Post-thyroidectomy; Post-ear reattachment operation; Post-laser tattoo removal; Post-ablation of a mole; Post-laser hair removal that is too localized and intense in the same place; etc...

Every year, more than 100 million1 patients develop scars and there are about 4 million1 burn scars, 70% of which are in children.
In order for everyone to feel good about their scar(s), SVR is developing its second medical device following international clinical recommendations: "silicones are the 1st line treatment for the initial management of all scars and for the prevention of hypertrophic scars and keloids. "2.
The formula is therefore highly concentrated in rigorously selected silicones, and its non-greasy, non-sticky gel texture forms an invisible, semi-occlusive film for barrier protection:

On clean, cleansed and dry skin, apply twice a day to closed wounds and scars.
Do not use for more than 30 days.
In case of sun exposure, protect your scar to limit the risks of red and brown marks.
Warnings and precautions for use: CICAVIT DM + Scars is reserved exclusively for an external use. In case of persistent problem, stop the use and consult a doctor. This product must be kept out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the tube. Do not use in the eyes or on mucous membranes.
Keep for 12 months after opening. Store at room temperature.
Contra-indications: Do not use in case of allergy to one of the components. Do not use on open wounds. Do not use at the same time as a topical medication. In case of skin disease, consult your doctor. The product is not indicated for pregnant or breast-feeding women.
