Enriched with sustainably-sourced natural mineral salts from the Dead Sea and Kalahari Desert, OLVERUM Bath Salts offer a new way to enjoy the therapeutic luxury of OLVERUM’s signature Bath Oil, while also providing a more intensively nourishing therapy for the whole body.

First perfected in 1931 by our founders Edith and Franz Otto Klein, the closely-guarded recipe for OLVERUM Bath Oil contains ten essential oils (Siberian Fir Needle, Lavander, Lavandin, Rosemary, Lemon Peel, Lime, May Chang, Eucalptus, Juniper and Geranium) carefully selected to soothe aching muscles, relieve stress, nourish the skin, and re-energise the spirit.

Dissolving in seconds, OLVERUM Bath Salts enhance this formula with salts from Kalahari Desert and Dead Sea, among the most fertile sources of the natural minerals and trace elements such as magnesium, potassium, and calcium, which are essential for the maintenance of healthy skin, nails, and hair.

These minerals work in harmony with the body’s natural healing and regeneration processes to help regulate cell repair, aid skin barrier function, restore levels of fatty acids in the epidermis, and boost collagen and keratin levels.

OLVERUM Bath Salts are further enhanced with deep-penetrating avocado oil, an abundant source of antioxidants, vitamins, and Omega 9, which replenish moisture and protect against dehydration, leaving skin feeling velvety-smooth.

Dead Sea Salt (Maris Sal): Prized since Biblical times for its therapeutic benefits, this is a rich source of a mix of minerals, including magnesium salts – an essential element for easing aching muscles and joints.
Kalahari Desert Salt (Sodium Chloride): Sustainabily harvested in the Kalahari Desert in South Africa, this contains minerals and trace elements including potassium and calcium, which help strengthen nails and hair, and leave skin soft and regenerated.
Avocado (Persea Gratissima) Oil: A deep-penetrating oil especially rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and Omega 9 that replenishes moisture and protects against dehydration, leaving skin feeling velvety-smooth.
Vitamin E (Tocopherol): A natural antioxidant known for its skin conditioning properties, and ability to enhance skin barrier function.

In keeping with our status as a pioneering green wellness brand, we ensure all our ingredients are sustainably and ethically produced. Working with our suppliers, we made sure that the production of our mineral salts also benefit local communities.
Naturally sun-dried and harvested by hand, our unrefined Kalahari Desert Salt is produced by sources partnering with non-profit organisations (including UKAMA Foundation and TFP Foundation), supplying training and investment in local enterprise to empower the local community in South Africa.
The harvesting of Dead Sea Salt also helps maintain the critical balance of minerals in the southern Dead Sea. The removal of excess salts caused by the lowering water table in the region helps prevent the degradation of the surrounding coastline, and the resulting structural damage to surrounding homes and businesses.
