FRAGRANCE & PROPERTIES Lime essential oil is strong and fresh with a bittersweet aroma. Although the origin of Lime is not certain, botanists believe this citrus fruit began its life in the jungles of Myanmar (previously Burma) and India and was first introduced to Europe by early Arab traders. It is ideal in massage blends (in a carrier oil) to cleanse the body and acts as a natural detox agent. In a diffuser, it is revitalising and uplifts the spirit. Lime is fresh, bittersweet and citrussy and blends well with Neroli, Frankincense, Ginger, Rosemary and Cypress.
